Main Street Historic Walk – Site 35

This residence built in 1935 for E. and L.M. Owen-Tucker. The building was leased by the first NSW Bank manager in 1939 before the Owen-Tuckers took it up again. Mrs L.M. Owen-Tucker lived in the house till 1982 and the premises were bought by Keith Becker and Laurie Praed for $28000 to be used for rental purposes. The building was removed and a modern complex built comprising of ANZ Bank and Morries Restaurant.
