Main Street Historic Walk – Site 51

This was vacant land until 1967/68 when three shops were built by R.Rodgers as a cake and pastry shop. Then Elaine and Reg Robinson in 1969 ran Renae's Shoe Shop. In 1976 further extensions were added where a coffee and cake shop was operated by Gerry and Irma Casteelen and Joyce Bennett ran a vegetable and health food shop. In 1978 Joyce Bennett sold her shop to Bill and Jenny Turnock.

Later a butcher shop was opened operated by Kim Fish and later by Pat and Verns butchers. It's now owned by Mick Bright who operates Margaret River Gourmet Meats Butchers. The other two shops are Annapurna Whole foods and Down South Essentials.
