Main Street Historic Walk – Site 20

This building was built in 1926/7 by the Mann Bros for the Mann family and later it was used as a bootmakers shop by a E. Pummel. Then the towns first barber in Vinty Fee known as Ali Barber operated here until 1942/3. Ken Edwards took over the barbers business till 1947. The wooden building was demolished and he built a more modern shop next door. The land was sold to Mr Reynolds and his proposed garage foundations next door. This site was rebuilt with several little eateries but now is a larger complex with many tenants including Domino's Restaurant, Red Cross and Boutique Eco.
